Massage has been used to treat aliments long before modern medicine was around. Massage has been proven to improve the immune system by eliminating toxins and reducing inflammation. It increases circulation and stimulates the lymphatic system. It can turn on muscles that are atrophied as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion in healthy muscles. Massage also helps with releasing endorphins, reducing pain and instilling a general wellbeing feeling.
Massage session take 45minutes to 1.5 hours. The first session will take closer to 1.5 hours.
Massage can be done as often as 3 times a week or as little as once a month. When working with injuries or tension once a week or every other week is advised.
